Matucana oreodoxa var. roseiflora 粉仙玉

中文名：這屬的中文名是奇仙玉　白仙玉等等
這是唯一粉紅色的品種　當然就叫粉仙玉囉
學名是粉紅花的意思

簡介：

這是２０１０年發現的新種，長的很可愛。

型態特徵

人工栽培和產地株會有頗大的差異，推論應該是年齡差異所致。目前的人工栽培株全都不滿10歲(這是簡單的邏輯)。

栽培株：
小型的單頭圓球狀仙人掌，膚色翠綠，不刺人的長刺沿著體表弧度彎曲。周刺6根，無中刺。稜不明顯，有類似疣粒的結構，寬達1公分。有膨脹的蘿蔔根。


花朵輻射對秤，和大多數Matucana 不同。推測應該是演化成昆蟲授粉，而非蜂鳥受粉。
在春天短暫的開花。原亞種則是整個夏天都會持續開花



產地株
平貼地面生長的扁球。單頭可以長到9公分寬，多達15頭群生。有9~14稜，直稜或螺旋。
長刺突出體表，垂直於球體弧度。

光山推側這應該是單純的年齡差異，就像烏羽玉幼苗和成株的差別。而且原亞種Matucana oreodoxa的確也會有成體/幼體的變化。

發現經過和原產地：

物種發現者Graham Charles在The Cactus Explorer的訪談中，稍微談到了物種發現的經過：
當時是2009年的南11月(濕季/春季)，作者和幾個朋友在秘魯北部的Pataz旅行。

Pataz的氣候 屬於乾濕兩季型

當時探險隊正在沿著河谷平原下降，光山：不是台灣的那種窄抖V型谷，而是數公里寬的寬闊河谷。在路邊看到了一株Weberbauerocereus，抬頭看，卻在泥土的陡坡上，看到一坨綠綠胖胖矮矮的仙人掌。長的離路面有段距離，爬上去仔細看後探險隊的成員認為他是Matucana oreodoxa ，不過他們所處的位置和Matucana oreodoxa 的分布範圍有130公里的距離。

沿著河谷前進，看到越來越多這種仙人掌。開始發現到更多不同處，這個神祕仙人掌的皮膚更脆綠，而不是典型M.oreodoxa 的淺灰綠。單頭直徑也更大，群生也更大陀。
探險隊本來很開心，認為自己找到了M.oreodoxa的新生長地點。
卻遇到一個開滿花的小山坡，ˊ之前大概有局部降雨，上面的植物全都開滿了花。
而這種仙人掌的花卻是粉嫩粉嫩的粉桃色。

就被當成新亞種發布了。

所以應該只有一個編號流入市面

可以知道他是喜歡長在泥土斜坡，河谷斜坡上的仙人掌。
土壤是泥土，產地氣候是乾濕分明的，有一段長時間的乾冬季和濕夏季。
但是全年溫度都一樣。

光山的栽培經驗：

雖然種子超貴，但沒有特殊的發芽要求，我是在2018年1月14播種的，25~29C可順利發芽。5棵全發芽。
我使用的是玻璃罐播種法，超貴的種子我都這樣播。

我在2018年底換盆了，沒澆水，有一段很乾旱期。

2019/4/24第一朵花苞出現了，兩株都有花苞

嫁接十分容易生長，在戶外淋雨可能會引發刺座腐爛與毛毛蟲/蝸牛啃咬。
使用麒麟團扇嫁接的生長速度普通，需要進一步驗證，可能是我沒對準。使用麒麟團扇與Selenicereus都不會發生大量迸發側芽的現象。
我使用Selenicereus獲得了極佳的結果，全都順暢的接通了，並在一年4個月後開花。

喜歡大量水分，我嫁接後腰水，一段時間後定期給予化學肥料。
發生過幾次腐爛，不過Selenicereus很長，切掉後就沒事了。夏季的生長非常快速，冬季明顯停止。長大到3~4公分後開花。

place of origin:

There is only one growing place in the volcanic lava zone of Zacatecas, Mexico.

Habitat is barren  volcanic rock . the volcanic rock that is as big as the mountain is cracked, many small pits of several meters are accumulated in the mountain and grow in these small pits. Water will accumulate in pits during the rainy season.


Appearance: Small cute cactus, cute is justice.



Zhou stabbed white, tightly arranged around each other, presenting a pure white surface with a black thorn. Some individuals' thorns will be arranged in a prismatic shape, so beautiful that there is nothing to say.


The fruit is small, 5mm large, hidden between the tubular . After maturity, it is dried and hidden behind the spine. The fruit must be clipped by hand and the fruit will not come off naturally.

It has some of the characteristics of the cryptocarpa cactus it  also hide the fruit, but not as strict as the typical cryptocarpa cactus.





Cultivation feelings:

A small cactus that grows slowly. It has a habit like M. luthy but is more resistant to exercise. It is not as easy to root-rot as a M. luthy . There are no taproot.



My research on the soil of habits seems to be quite helpful. When I mix the medium, I didn't put the red akadama soil that I usually put, but I bought the volcanic stone to mix it. This recipe works well.



Like high temperature and strong light, like the soil to be completely dry. It doesn't matter if you don't water for a few weeks in summer. When water is scarce, it will be retracted into the soil, which is easy to spot. They will be obviously green up  after drinking water, I will wait until the whitening shrinks before watering.

I mixed fertilizer into the water several times when I was watering, and I didn't see any effect.



The medium formula I used was: medium-sized particles with extreme drainage, no organic matter at all, a large number of volcanic rocks and volcanic minerals.



seed:

Seeds need medium temperature above 20C to germinate, and the germination rate is miserable.
Fresh seed germination  is not high.

It may sprout in a few months, and the seeds sowed in December will be issued in March and will be sent again in May.

It is recommended to keep the potted seed without germination.
the seeds will suddenly germinate again later. it may take as long as 6 month.


medium:
I recommended to use Kiryu sand, black and white volcanic rocks and other volcanic rocks. When sowing, it is necessary to sieve about 5mm of fine particles to facilitate sowing,it is difficult to germinate with coarse particles.The seedling will have hard time coming out from craters.
