葡萄甕的花朵結構 Flower of Cyphostemma jutae

葡萄甕Cyphostemma jutae 屬於雌雄同株的品種，但是關於他花朵細部結構的資料卻很少。
The Handbook of Succulent 上也沒有紀載。
感謝臉書上的花友Ya-ting Lin 提供照片，可以清楚的看到，葡萄甕是屬於雌雄同株異花的。



型態上來說：
公花有四片明顯的花辦，往後翻，四根雄蕊往中間靠，集中成一根，末端一坨花粉。

母花沒花瓣，有四個明顯的蜜腺，只有一根明顯的雌蕊。
一個花序裡面會有雄花和雌花，會同時開放，自交親合。
Cyphostemma 的自交親合性隨物種差異不同，有些要開好幾陀花序才有一個果實，有些一個花序就有10幾個。



Cyphostemma jutae are hermaphrodite,that is it has both male and female part on same plant.

But the detail structure of it;s flower is lacking.Is it  synoecious (with perfect flower)?

or is it monoecious In a narrow sense ? (with male and female flower)

Flower Morphology of  Cyphostemma jutae


 Male  flower:
With 4 obvious petal recurving, 4 stamen curve toward central and close together forming a single pole.Pollen can be seen as single blob on the tip.


Female flower:
With 4 obvious nectar glande. Drop of nectar is very obvious .Only 1 style.
A single inflorescence contain both male and female flower.Flower at same time.

self-compatible.
The degree of self-compatible vary in Cyphostemma  for about 0.5 fruit per inflorescence to 10 more.

Cissus tuberosa 塊莖甕

葡萄科的塊莖多肉

常見度：略罕見 大約1~2個月會在拍賣場出現一次
栽培難易度：簡單  但要栽培出好看的植株困難
繁殖容易度：簡單 插枝容易存活 但因為長的枝條數量少 無法大量插枝繁殖



塊莖甕是麥氏多肉圖鑑中給的名字。許多不求甚解的網路賣家會把這品標示為瓜科或苦瓜。
光山難過，但光山不說。


這品的塊莖屬於莖-上胚軸發育型，塊莖會露出土表，不可埋入。
It;s a above ground caudex. DO NOT burrow caudex in to ground.

會在天氣冷時休眠，如同大多數葡萄科塊根，休眠時葉子和藤蔓都會枯黃，但會留下5~10公分的短藤蔓沒有枯死，這點可以和瓜科區分。
droment in cold season just like most other Vitaceae-Vine-Caudex.
Leaf and vine will dry out but 5~10CM of thick vine will remain .
This remaining characteristic is different from Cucurbitaceae and can be use to ID.

市面上販售的9成9都是插枝苗，但無虛驚慌，這品種生長速度適中，就算是插枝苗只要你好好的虐待他，就能在3年後長出漂亮的塊莖。
99% of specimen on market are cutling . but worry not this species has a medium grow speed and with proper care a cutling can develop a nice caudex just as a seedling will do.

需要限制根部生長空間，不要使用素燒盆(太疏水了)，塊莖部分不可被陽光直曬，有曬傷的風險，遮光是不錯的選擇。

繁殖就用扦插法繁殖，如果想要栽培出漂亮的塊莖，在剪藤蔓仟插時就得先規劃好。
從切口開始往上算，直到第一個莖節為止，這一段部分會在未來發育成他的塊莖。
如果切口太接近莖節，長出的塊莖型壯就會非常奇怪。
如果你選到一個Y型分岔的藤蔓來牽差，未來就會發育成有兩個冒芽點的塊莖。
